Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of LandLens, operated by Kendra Holdings LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Who can use LandLens
You must be at least 18 years old and, to post reviews, hold a valid email address at a participating college. One account per person.
Your reviews
- Post only your own firsthand experience as a tenant (or applicant) of the property you review. One review per property per person.
- Be truthful. Fabricated reviews, reviews of properties you never lived at, and reviews posted in exchange for payment, discounts, or favors are prohibited and will be removed.
- No harassment, threats, hate speech, or private personal information about any individual (home addresses of individuals, personal phone numbers, or other doxxing). Name landlords and management companies by the name on your lease; do not post anyone's private details.
- Upload only photos you took of the property. No people in photos without their consent.
You keep ownership of what you post, and you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it within the app and our services. You can delete your account — and with it your content — at any time in the app.
Verification
Badges (school email, photo, lease) describe how a review was verified; they are granted by us and are never for sale. Submitting someone else's lease or falsified documents is grounds for permanent removal.
Landlords and property managers
Claiming a listing adds a verified business contact card only. Claims never change grades, reviews, or ranking, and grades cannot be purchased. If you believe a review violates these terms, use the in-app flag or email us; verified firsthand tenant experiences are otherwise protected.
Public records
Listings and records (licenses, registrations, inspection outcomes, court records where available) come from government open-data sources, cited in the app. They are provided as published by those sources; we do not guarantee they are complete, current, or error-free, and they are not legal advice or a substitute for your own diligence.
Purchases
Full Reports are one-time purchases delivered by email. If a report fails to arrive, contact hello@getlandlens.com and we will resend or refund it. Purchases made through the App Store are also subject to Apple's terms.
Moderation and termination
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms. Flagged content is reviewed within 24 hours.
Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Reviews are the opinions of their authors, not ours. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kendra Holdings LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
