Privacy Policy
LandLens ("the app") is operated by Kendra Holdings LLC. This policy describes what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- School email address — used solely to verify that you are a student at your college and to sign you in. We never post your email or name alongside your reviews, and we do not sell it.
- Content you post — reviews, ratings, tags, tenancy periods, landlord names you report, and photos you upload are public content shown to other users of the app.
- Session data — a sign-in token stored on your device so you stay signed in. Tokens are stored hashed on our servers.
- Lease documents (optional) — if you choose to verify your tenancy, the lease photo you submit is used solely to confirm you lived at the address. It is never shown publicly, never shared, and is deleted after the verification decision.
- Move-in vault photos (optional) — photos you save to your private vault are visible only to you, and are never used in reviews or shown to anyone else. Delete them anytime by contacting us.
Public records
Property listings and records shown in the app (rental licenses, registrations, inspection outcomes) come from municipal and county open-data sources and are public information published by those governments, with sources cited in the app.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not show advertising.
- We do not collect your precise location.
Deletion
Delete your account anytime in the app (Profile → Delete account). This permanently removes your account, sessions, reviews, review photos, vault photos, and any lease documents. You can also email hello@getlandlens.com from your registered address.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and note the date above.
