What do I get?

It arrives on this site and by email, usually within five minutes.
Is this legal advice?
No. It is an automated reading of the document by an AI model, checked against common landlord-tenant issues. It tells you what to verify and what to ask; it does not tell you what is legal. Most campuses have a free student legal-services office that will review a lease in person; use both.
What happens to my lease?
The file is stored privately so the review can be generated and so you can reopen it from the link we email you. It is never shown to other users, never used to train anything, and is deleted on request (hello@getlandlens.com).
What kinds of leases work?
Any residential lease in the United States as a PDF, up to 15 MB: apartment, house, room, sublease, or a lease with a guarantor addendum. Photos of a paper lease work if you first save them as a single PDF (iPhone Notes or Files can do this).
