Is LandLens actually free for students?
Yes. Searching, grades, safety flags, and posting reviews are free with a .edu email. The paid Full Report is the deep-dive dossier parents buy — students never need it to use the app.
How do you know reviewers really lived there?
Every reviewer verifies a school email, one review per person per property. Photos upgrade the verification badge, and an uploaded lease upgrades it again. Landlords never see who wrote a review.
Where do the records come from?
Municipal rental registries, city inspection data, and court filings published as open government data. Every record in the app cites its source. We never scrape reviews or invent listings.
Can a landlord pay to remove a bad review or boost a grade?
No. Grades are computed from verified tenant reviews and cannot be bought, boosted, or edited by landlords. There are no ads and no paid placement — that's permanent.
My campus isn't listed. When?
