Every fall, students sign twelve-month leases on houses they toured for eleven minutes — while the landlord knows everything about them: credit, income, cosigners. LandLens flips the table. The tenant side gets the data for once.
We pull real rental registries from city open data, real inspection records, and — where courts publish them — real eviction filings. On top of that, verified student tenants grade the houses they actually lived in: one review per person per property, school email required, photos and leases as proof.
The rules we don't break
- No fake data. If an address isn't real, it can't exist here.
- No ads, no paid placement, no "featured" landlords. Ever.
- Grades are earned from verified tenants — never sold.
- Reviews are anonymous to landlords, verified to us.
- Public records always cite their government source.
Who's behind it
LandLens™ is built and run by Kendra Holdings LLC, a Massachusetts company. It started with one observation from a college parent: everyone pays for a Carfax before a $4,000 car, but nobody can get one for a $12,000 lease. Now they can.
